We are here to help

you don’t have to go through it alone.

We believe people open up when they feel safe enough to be human.

At AHA! Psychology, we focus on creating a calm, grounded, and emotionally safe space for meaningful conversations. We value genuine human connection, emotional understanding, and the kind of conversations that people often do not get to have in their daily lives.

Sometimes, healing does not begin with having the “right answer.” Sometimes, it begins with finally feeling heard. Whether you are here to seek support or to support others, we hope this space helps people slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves in a more human way.

Our therapeutic approaches include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Systemic Therapy

What does a therapy session look like?

  1. Client Registration Form & Screening Form (e.g., BDI, BAI or DASS)

The client will be asked to fill out basic information and sign a consent form before the session. Additionally, the client’s mental health condition will be briefly screened by a self-report questionnaires, such as Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) or Depression-Anxiety-Stress Scale (DASS).

  2. Meet your Psychologist (either in-person or online)

Your psychologist will greet you and ask how to address you.

  3. Background & Concerns

Your assigned psychologist will inquire about your background (e.g., history of your concerns) based on your needs for the therapy. Do let your psychologist know if you are not comfortable sharing any parts of the history.

  4. Intervention

Your psychologist will introduce you some new psychological concept, skills or guide you by asking questions and encourage you to give the question a deep thought. Your psychologist will intervene your concerns based on their training and learned psychotherapy approaches (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT).
